The conference venue is at the Woodward Conference Centre located at the University of Melbourne, Parkville campus.

From/To Tullamarine Airport

Myki cards

Public transport requires use of a Myki card (other tickets cannot be purchased).

  • Myki cards cost $6 plus credit for travelling. They can be purchased (or topped up) online, at train stations, many convenience stores, major tram stops, and hotels may also sell them.
  • Myki fares are charged as a 2 hour trip in the first instance, which costs $3.58 in Zone 1. Travelling more than 2 hours later incurs an additional fare capped at $7.16 for the day (in Zone 1).
  • Myki cards should be touched on when you board and off when you alight.
  • Visitors to Victoria can purchase a Myki Visitor Pack, if desired.


Many route numbers travel up Swanston or Elizabeth Streets close to the University of Melbourne conference venue in Pelham Street. (PDF of Melbourne Tram Network)

Swanston Street: Tram No. 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 16, 64, 67, 72.

Alight at Stop 3 Lincoln Square and walk through to Pelham Street

Elizabeth Street: Tram No. 19, 59.

Alight at Stop 9 Elizabeth Street / Haymarket Roundabout and walk down Pelham Street

Note: to use a Myki on the tram, you MUST have sufficient credit on the card before boarding the tram.


Off street car parking

There are 3 car parks available, with the University Square car park being the closest to the venue.

Entry is at 244 Bouverie Street or 206 Berkeley Street (just off Grattan Street). This car park is occasionally closed to the public from 9:30am, so ensure you get in early.

On street car parking

There is limited on street car parking around the venue, on Royal Parade and Grattan Street. Most are 2 or 4 hour time limits and are coin metered.
